On the left side of the window, under your name on your Friends list (you have to click on the + sign to open it) some of the friends added have a little plime symbol before their name. It looks like high level active users have it, but I found a user who has none, but she is active, she added me as friend and she is higher in level than others who have one and she has upvoted me today. So all these can not be the reason to have one plime sign in front of a name. I have one and I do not remember how did I get it. Kitsune86 has one but she is not very active lately, I think she has not logged in since a while.
DEP and pocksucket does not have one, but 2many, imnotyoo and davbob does have one.
Puzzling.
Could someone tell me what does that plime iconette stand for?
====
It even changes sometimes.
Someone had it 5 minutes ago and now she does not have it.

Maybe these are the users online not too long ago. Only the profile does not always tell correctly when were we last online, so some people might show up there who were not online since a while, and others might not show up who are? If I accept a small error, it is very close to the people online.

Curioser and curiouser...You have one on my list, but INY does not.

The fact that it changes leads me to believe that indicates someone who is currently logged in.

It means they are online at the time. Every one of your friends that has one next to their name, is in Plime at that moment.

It's been busted for a while, but obviously Jax fixed it recently.

I'm nosy, so I like to add a lot of friends, then I get to see if they are on at any one time.

Thanks, that explains it.

About Plime
Plime is an editable wiki community where users can add and edit weird and interesting links. Users earn karma when other users vote on their actions. The more karma you have, the more power you have at Plime.

To figure oot what an image is for, I usually right-click on it, then click on the properties, then read the URL:

In this case, it would mean that the user is online. Maybe this helps, eh.

Lots of people consider YOU their friend, but you have not chosen to reciprocate.

On your profile under friends check out the "friends who added user" part, and you will see who added you.

I dunno I've never had one. I'm guessing that someone adds you as a friend but not sure how you know.

Edit just checked and I was right, I have no friends.

Edit again- crap I got lots of friends. Now I feel bad for not adding anyone else.
