You have to be awesome. That's all there is to it. So far you are failing.
Just kidding, spacer. Welcome to plime.
It's never bad advice to just chill out for a while and supress your instinct to just jump in feet first. Read through the some of the news links and comments on the news links, and read through some of the forum threads. This will give you a feel as to how the community works on here.
Also, read the FAQ's that Nicky linked you to.
If you come up with any specific questions, feel free to message me and I'd be glad to help. (just hit the envelope at the top right corner of your screen by your username to take you to your inbox)
Hi spacer1 and welcome to plime. Follow Nicky666's advice and read the FAQs before posting.
You'll note that your first post was downvoted as a spam post. The FAQs will give you a good idea about what is acceptable to post on plime. It's great that you've asked for help.
I think all the important stuff has been said already - just welcome to Plime then!
Edited to add:
I just saw you already submitted a link earlier. You have probably noticed that it has been deleted. I have not checked it, personally, but I particularly recommend reading the one part of the FAQ that is about linking to your own stuff etc. We're a little... sensitive concerning that, but I'm sure you'll understand that.
Plime is an editable wiki community where users can add and edit weird and interesting links. Users earn karma when other users vote on their actions. The more karma you have, the more power you have at Plime.
The biggest bit of advice that I can give is to realize that there are a lot of opinions that are going to be stated here. Some may differ from yours and some may be the same.
Don't take it personally. Don't play the victim, and make sure you do your homework before you post or comment.
