If it is real, I would expect the broadcast to have ended before the revelation. If their producer was on the ball he/she would have cut it off - I'm sure you all know about the 7 second delay on live radio.

If it is real, that's a terrible way to find out.

If it is real, that no-one in her family thought to tell him makes me think maybe it was over long before.

The radio station I used to work for never did, but I always thought that it was because they were too much of a bunch of cheapskates for that kind of caper (none of the output was ever recorded either, which I'm sure ain't right). One look at their website will confirm that they're not the most professional.

I sort of assumed everyone else did it though.
