She's a top secret turtle-killer for the government, who is sent out to kill as many turtles as possible and retrieve their skulls for analysis!
haha.
I assumed she was former Channel 4 correspondant April O'Neil, who was scorned by the love of an adolescent turtle and has vowed to go on a murderous rampage killing turtles until her lover returns to her arms.
I think I am going to spoil the fun for some. When I wrote girl it is because of her gender, I usually refer to females as "girls" no matter how many kids of her are over the legal drinking age. Still she is friendly and that is a very important trait for me in everyone.

Well, he keeps referring to bite marks on the skulls so I'm imagining this woman that eats raw turtle heads for fun. Maybe she sucks the brains like crawdads. I don't know.
i love this- girl with skulls happening!- please talk to her, please, for the sake of all this anticipation and conjecture! (which has been so awesome) PLEASE!!! p.s. u should compile this stuff and get the rights cause its pure gold hahhaa
It wasn't her. She was aware of them but she inherited them from the previous guy who used to sit there. The skulls are more than a decade old... Incidentally she gave me 5 of them.
just alittle info i found: The chelenophagi, or turtle eaters, are described as swimming out to the animals in twos and tipping them over, whereupon a rope was fastened to the tail and the animal hauled in. Reports are also given of using shells for shelter as well as boats, for "they are huge in size and not smaller than the smallest fishing boat" (Burstein 1989). The usefulness of the sea turtle is then neatly attested to: "so that nature seems to have granted them with one gift, the satisfaction of many needs, for one and the same gift is their food, container, house and boat"

Two questions, then:
1) Who was the previous guy? and 2) Why would she keep them??
A little creepy. But cool. If they were for decor she would probably keep them on her desk. ...hmmm the plot thickens. I guess not really, I am just pointing out the obvious.
