Well, I was bored, and PS was open and I had a brown shade selected, so the product of my boredom was this. I was trying a new method of coloring digital arts, and I think it turned out OK. It's a bit soft for my tastes, but w/e.
Harsh lines:
This is in no way near finished, but I doubt I'll work further on it, so there.
I like it, Mersh, but I think you could smooth out the right ear and join the left ear where the line breaks. It doesn't fit with the rest of the style to leave it like that, IMO.

I tried changing that part of the ear, but nothing would look right so I left it the same. I don't really have to worry about the right ear because in the final version that kind of detail isn't shown.
In case anyone cares, I do actually have that whole strip up. It looks horrible, but it was done in about two hours. It, along with the rest of the strips, can be found here.

Forced myself out of that block. I'm still not feeling 100% better, but I think this is a nice step forward. Thank you all for helping me with this funk block. :D

I like to use 3D programs to make my art. Oh, and I'm new to Plime. Anyone have any advice? That's good. And constructive. Such as don't ask for advice?

I inserted the actual image. To do this, you use [ image ] tags. To see how, just click "edit" under your post. Instead of using the link to the page where the image is located, you would just use the actual image's link.
Downsized MP3 of the audio track for my weird subway movie project, consisting of lots of found news footage audio, noise, and 2 Muse samples (yay copyright violation!).
I just listened to it with headphones, and it made me so dizzy, I almost puked (which is good; I'm looking forward to the screening in class on Tuesday).
I hope it wasn't just because of my lack of sleep.
I had this project with gimp where I tried to write a commandline filter to make poster like images from a photo. What I wanted to do was: 1) find the contours of the image. Make a new image with the contours only. After this there should be distinct areas on the picture (this part did not work mostly) 2) randomly select a spot on the original image and fill the corresponding area on the contour image with the color of this spot on the original image. Did this second step several hundred times and hoped it will fill all the areas.
I expected that this will result in nice contours with interesting colors.
Well it did not work, but it should have. so I collected a big batch of images, and run a batch job on them. The result was terrible. Mostly the contour part did not work, the contours did not close in areas, therefore the image was a single color square with some weird lines drawn on them.
About maybe 2% worked out well enough to recognize the image. (51 out of 2500) Here are some of them.
