One of those instances where I was glad I was wrong - I thought this was going to be someone making art out of fingernail clippings.

my grandpa used to make stuff like that. he made roosters and sold them as decorations. they were much smaller than the piece this guy made and he used nails that were different sizes and color shades but it was still pretty cool.
