Barber is a Ringling alumni (my school YAY!) His oil paintings are just plain amazing. His subject matter is tattoos and dolls. He did that painting that Kat Von D has hanging in her shop on LA Ink.

Interesting. I like his paintings very much but one thing seems to stand out to me.
He has painted old, chubby, and goofy looking guys, but all of the women he painted are hot. As a female I have an immediate dislike of this person.

But there aren't many famous female tattoo artists so I guess in a way he can be picky. Actually let me not defend him, lol. I do love the way he paints though.
