Opacity - Abandoned Buildings and Urban Decay
Opacity - Abandoned Buildings and Urban Decay
Opacity documents the compelling beauty in the decay of the abandoned; frozen steps on the inevitable path towards entropy in urban environments.

What was once familiar rapidly becomes alien when left alone, as these galleries show. picked by Pocksucket 7 months ago

The theme picture is a detail from a shot titled Candy Cane Dungeon which is what first caught my eye about this site.

If you like this sort of thing, I'd also recommend Urbex - A UK site. Especially as I've now fixed the link. Only 5 months late.

I checked out this site about a year ago, and this site alone got me into photography, and trespassing.
I deleted my bookmarks and lost the site. thanks for the post Pock.

Hauntingly beautiful.

Thank you.

Reminds me of a photo essay on Ellis Island.

My pleasure. It's been a while since I've done any breaking, entering or trespassing* but maybe I should rekindle my habits, taking your lead and also the theme of the day, maybe I should.

That is awesome...I really like this one. It's like a multiplayer level from Halo or something.
