Rowling and the makers of the Harry Potter movies filed a lawsuit against RDR Books, a small U.S. publisher that plans to bring out a companion volume based on the Harry Potter Lexicon fan Web site.

What about binding them in faux leather, and printing many many many copies, then sell them at $20-30 a volume and give the proceeds to The Children's Voice.

I don't like the idea that a well publicized book will only be able to be read by a few.

She'll release it later for everyone I know. I guess I am just getting frustrated by how much JK Rowling goes about creating buzzes and keeping herself in the media.

Well, I'm not sure about it. They publish the website, and if the owner of the website lets them print it, that is between them and the web site. If Rowling has any problem with it she should address the question with the web site.
