Brilliant! Never even thought of open source hardware, but I think these guys are setting a precedent that others will have to follow.

They do this for a great amount of things, it really does help the product in the long run.

Mostly because the 'hackers' can find different uses than, what it is originally designed for; it improves their product without putting any further time into a product instead letting the consumer use it the way they want -- for another consumer, designed by a consumer.
