I refuse to say any of the "starbucks" terms. Just order what you want in english and they know what you mean. If you want a "venti mocha frappucino" you can order a "large blended ice mocha" and they give you what you want. THis has worked for me at every starbucks to date.

Sometimes they smile when they don't have to say it the crazy way. My good deed to make up for ordering from starbucks.

But they used the word Latte! And you used the word Mocha!

These aren't English either! *brain esplode!*

I say "Coffee". That's not true, not wholly. I make my own and I am barely awake when that happens so I *might* say it out loud, not sure.

The whole coffee thing is pretty confusing - I'm glad I don't drink it. I guess then I'd have to learn a completely new language.

Caffiene from diet cola is much easier.

I love patronizing coffee shops in Seattle and placing my order for "an enormous drip coffee" and when they ask if if want room, I reply "just enough so the cup doesn't collapse". It's curious how they take such a personal affront

Sidebar - What a fun homonym; patronize.

I can't feel my hands

(the radio commercial has an extra line "do I still have hands?", which is my favorite part)

The first time I saw that commercial I lol'd.

The only thing Starbucks is good for IMO is there frozen drinks which are only sometmes good since they don't always make sure the ice is completely blended.

The rest of their stuff is bitter. blech.

I knew I recognized that voice. These songs are by They Might Be Giants. They did a bunch of other ones, too.

I love TMBG, they have such a recognizable style, and they're always popping up here and there. Odds are even if you've never heard of them you've heard several of their songs.
