Our children are our future, and the future is scary.

We talk a lot on Plime about how kids are crazy/unruly etc and how parents are raising them this way. It seems our world is just spiraling out of control and its starting younger and younger.

There's still hope... the kid knew she was out of control and tried to do something about it, but he didn't go about it the right way, obviously.

Honey, that is a day at work for me!

I don't watch TV except for Food Network and Greys Anatomy. And Spongebob.

So, I like it quiet.

And if I had a dime for everytime a parent called for a kid who was out of control and yelling at them, I could retire today.

I have get disrespected all the time.

I think the problems are parents don't spend time with their kids, and many are allowed to have free reign.

I had to be home for dinner, be home when the street lights were on.

Very true.

I also guarantee you that this girl's father is not in her life (no, that's not a stereotype-motivated comment, I'd say the same of any girl acting like that) and has never ONCE been properly disciplined.

Hey, our children may not be our future.

Remember, there's a pretty likely chance we're gonna somehow physically destroy the planet before they get a chance to grow up!

The future may not end up being an issue at all.

Lol. So how, then, is that not a stereotype-motivated comment?

I think I understand what you meant, but your disclaimer actually made your comment seem more stereotypical.

I try to think of how my father parented me and my siblings, and how the "average" parent nowadays parents, and figure that somewhere in the middle is the sanest route.

My dad actually gave me parenting advice today. It was weird.

Girl, it's hard to do. I am not one to bite my tongue on anything.

TV is a sad state of affairs. I used to watch Happy Days and shows like that with my family when I was a kid...it was corny stuff, yes...BUT! Now nudity and soft porn is on regular channels.

Music sucks. I like a good beat, but if you listen to the lyrics, they are just raunchy.

I don't take any crap on scene, but unfortuately, I cannot say anything at 911. I do listen to police give them hell on occasion and it warms my heart.

Sit down, shut the f*ck up, and leave the old lady alone before I beat your ass. Period.

I would probably have pulled the emergency stop line when she started getting in everyone's face and had her thrown off the train.

It was mostly her repeating lyrics from a rap song and then claiming she just "free styled". The lyrics are just saying how cool the rapper is and she only changed boy to girl so not much free styling.

Then she tries to make it out like the old lady was talking trash and when the other boy confronts her she starts saying he was the guy that raped her earlier...

I could say oh so many things about acting and dressing and having the persona of thug or rapper of whatever you want to call it, about demanding respect and giving none, and about all the other people on that train that sat and looked out the window...but it's all so very stereotypical.

That girl is not the future of this country. She is, sadly, the future face of public assistance and/or the criminal justice system.

All of 16 maybe, and yes, I am more than willing to write her off as a lost cause.

Why does this surprise you? The average working parent spends approximately 19 minutes of "quality time" with their kids every day. It's no surprise, then, that the majority of children are reaching their twenties with no inkling of what maturity or adulthood really mean.

Clicky.

I.... There...

No.... Words...

Look, I have no tolerance for stupid people. First off I am rather humored by how out of breath she got after her "Free style" that she busted out for the bus.

Second, what ever that old lady said, is likely the truth. I hope she called her something awful. I also hope this video gets on some form of news, and this girl gets completely humiliated, so she can learn a damn lesson.

Also kids, dont do drugs.
