All my grandma ever gave me was flack for not cleaning my room. I'd have preferred gin.

.042 for a 9-year-old girl is definitely OVER ANY LIMIT. Good thing she didn't have to drive or operate heavy machinery. Did they test the grandmothers BAC?

Poor girl - I think I was about 22 before I had my first real Gin Hangover - it was brutal and vicious and I had the tools and the experience to deal with it.
Must have been terrifying for the child.
