sure the boyfriend is to blame, but what about the mother?

sorry, there's no way to sugarcoat or blame-game out of the fact that their daughter is just as much to blame as the guy who beat and killed her son. a "good and sweet parent" who allows herself to be beaten, choked, and threatened in front of her child is still not a good one.

I wish there were more good news. Stories like this are the extreme end of an ongoing problem with the human race. If there were some solid stats of children that have died at the hands of parents and caregivers you would probably puke.
