you hear about these sort of lawsuits from time to time and they are insane. To be able to sue because your spouse left you? WTF? That is just plain wrong.

Your spouse is not you StepfordSpouse. Your spouse is a free person. What's next? Perhaps a business can sue your new employer when you quit them to go work at a better paying job?

I like to see people who cheat get slapped in the face with what I hold so dear and near to my heart: karma. I also however find it creepy to think that you may get sued for leaving your spouse. Though, it would appear that this is just an extension of divorce court settlings. The wife cheated, therefore the man has more leverage when discussing alimony and compensation. Word to the wise, no matter how crappy a person says their relationship is, DO NOT PURSUE them. Sorry doll but some people are off the market. Pick someone else out of the 6,602,224,175 people of the world.

Yes, if it was part of a divorce settlement, fine. If he was suing the wife, then fine. No, he sued the other guy. That is just plain wrong.

With the immense resources the 'millionaire' would have had it would have been an easy matter to say...

"Ok, we love eachother, you're married. Let's get you divorced."

Once she's divorced THEN he can go about pursuing her and they can make all the babies they want. At that point there is no legal recourse the first man is entitled to.

I like this.. it shows you that just because you're rich, doesn't mean you can do whatever you want and just get away with it.

Bravo little-man. Bravo.

It's not plain wrong. It is a natural instinct to protect and preserve your family. Whether the threat is a rapist, a burgler, or a rich guy bent on seducing your wife.

The right to preserve a family is more important than someone's right to screw another man's wife.

SO, since we can't shoot them anymore, a lawsuit is the next best thing.

We can't expect men not to care about their families and simply "let go" on a whim, then also say that they have to support their wives and kids because the wife decided to sleep with some other guy.

I can sort of see the argument of how this can be wrong seeing as how he's suing the guy, but I guess I still feel that he knew what he'd be getting into and this is the consequence. I guess I feel that I am responsible for all my actions and I feel that everyone else should be as well. Some guy wanted to date me but he was still with his girlfriend..I wanted to date him as well but there was no way I was going to get into the middle of that. I said no way until he was broken up with his girlfriend for a while. I guess I put myself into other peoples situation and think about how it would affect me. If my boyfriend had left me for some other girl, which has happened before, and I refuse to be THAT GIRL. That's not how I roll. People are responsible for their actions plain and simple.
