Norway 'teenage boy' was adult woman on the run Posted: 8 months ago by AutumnLotus
A student in Norway who posed as a 13-year-old boy turned out to be a 33-year-old woman on the run from police investigating a child abuse case in the Czech Republic. Barbora Skrlova duped Norwegian police, classmates, child care workers and teachers for four months into believing she was a teenage boy named "Adam".

Amazing how many interesting articles there are that scream for a picture to complete the understanding of how the event could happen.
It's not just this post, which I find very interesting, it's quite a few that the original authors either don't have an image or fail to see the need for one.
After all, as we all know so well, "a picture is worth......"

After all, as we all know so well, "a picture is worth......" In this case, Autumn was having a bit of difficulty uploading, so I did it for her. The Hillary Swank image was her suggestion.
A last remnant of the bug from last weekend, perhaps.
But certainly, the article itself could have benefited from a picture of the Ms Skrlova.

Pic here. Seems like she'd be a little big for a 13 year-old.. I don't understand why she would go to school to begin with, and risk that kind of daily scrutiny. Not to mention the homework!

I Googled her name and found this:
I don't know if it's her or not, but I think it has potential.

This should be context from the article:
The teachers and fellow students noticed once a month she went through a lot of menstrual products, and was often found lecturing children on the morals of shaving your arm pits. She was once found sitting in doors during recess completing a crossword puzzle, but no one suspecting a thing.

But certainly, the article itself could have benefited from a picture of the Ms Skrlova. I tried to indicate that I wasn't speaking of Autumn. I was talking about this kind of article in general. There are many news articles, including some I've posted, that really need a picture to make the story. It's the original authors of the news items that either leave them out for space reasons, economic concerns, or no picture is available by deadline.
Heh, now that I review what I'm saying it's a pretty dumb comment on my part. Those reasons will prevail in any event.
