Kinda ironic. Southpark reruns are on as I type this, and it is an episode about 'Gingervitis'.

Is this just a UK thing? I've seen people get teased a little for having red hair here in the U.S., but I've never even heard of anything this extreme.

My mother, my brother, and a few of my cousins on my mom's side are/were redheads. I'm glad the black hair and tan skin gene got me and I was spared, although people often asked if I was adopted when it was just my mom out with me and my brother.

By the way, my mom was a red-headed stepchild.

That's because it's not, look at the picture, someone has drawn on their doorframe with a marker pen, they probably did it themselves to sell the story!

Poor kids. I've got red hair... what's left of it, that is... and I've heard it all... fire crotch, fire pubes, etc. Nobody's ever actually been violent towards me because of it.

Hmm, just when you think people are making progress, they find something else to get irrationally pissed off about.

I don't know..If they're still getting beat up after moving three or four times, I might come to the conclusion that the kids are chumps who invite it on themselves.

Is this where your irrational fear of blue comes in?

Kinda. My hair led to my nickname... which I've made into my personality.

I'm far too red, to be blue. :)

To be fair here, this cannot have anything to do with the South Park episode "Ginger Kids". The lesson is stated in song at the end:

"Hand in hand, we can live together. Ginger or not, we're all the same.
Black or white, brown or red, we shouldn't kill each other, 'cause it's lame."
