37 Year Old Claims Not To Have Realised Girl He Had Sex With Was Dead

Mark Dixie discovered 18 year old Sally Anne Bowman in a pool of blood and proceeded to have sex with her.

Dixie has previously admitted to indecently assaulting a woman and has been accused of raping and stabbing a prostitute.

His defence in this instance is that he didn't realise the naked, bleeding and presumably unresponsive Bowman was in any distress at all and "allowed his lust to get the better of him." picked by Pocksucket 9 months ago

Oh, OK. Well yeah, maybe. But it looks like a fairly quiet street and he may well have dropped her at the end of the road. Certainly not ideal behaviour, but not enough to convict him.

But primarily, this was Mark Dixie on trial for his actions towards Sally Anne Bowman, not an inquest into her death, so that would be something to be addressed on another occasion.

Which may sound a little callous, but this was a report of the proceedings, not the crime.

"Prosecutors have said sex acts were performed as Bowman lay dying or was dead in a pool of blood, including sexual intercourse."

They don't exactly say the she was deceased when he did this. Wouldn't that make him an accomplice to murder? And doesn't seem even worse that this guy could've possibly been in a position to save a life but not only chose not to; decided to rape the woman instead?
