Torture Death Shocks Ill. Town Posted: 8 months ago by mutil8or
Banished to the basement, the 29-year-old mother with a childlike mind and another baby on the way had little more than a thin rug and a mattress to call her own on the chilly concrete floor.

no, that is history's job...

An initial reaction of mine was 'well, this is why we have the death penalty....', even though i know capital punishment is a joke.

However, cases like these are why I support the idea of prison labor for truly s**tty criminals... they should have to work their asses off for our society until they die.

mandatory-minimum drug-offenders and non-violent criminals of low order would be exempt...but white-collar corporate thieves, rapists, murderers, lobbyists, Bechtel employees, etc should have to perform arduous labor...

Fully self-sustaining prisons, no cushy license-plate work...if we are going to have the largest prison population the world has ever seen, and if we are going to bear the immense financial burden of that system, certain prisoners should be reimbursing us through labor.

lest it be forgotten, the people in the article are in rare-air at the top of the s**tty people heap.

yeah...white collar...enron-types, tax evaders, etc..
am i missing something? I don't understand the confusion (which is likely why it is called confusion.)

I don't mean 'white-collar rapists', though they would be included with rapists in general.

hotel-hanger thieves would also be exempt.

I guess I never associated white collar theft with rape or murder.
