At the beginning of my job, work attire was to be professional. As time has gone on, it seems it has become very business casual (co-workers wearing "hoodies") I try to continue to dress professional because you just never know what meeting you will be drug into or who you may come face to face with. Fridays we are able to dress down, and those are normally days alotted for server room cleanup and/or moving equipment, which makes it difficult to do when you are dressed up. I've installed network switches in filthy switch closets before in my professional attire. Talk about uncomfortable!

bingo @ 6/7/2008 1:54:08 PM

I think the shorts are fine. Our "Fall/Winter/Spring" uniform is a golf shirt(with the Massage Envy logo) and tan dockers. I wear comfortable tennis shoes (an old pair of running shoes that I no longer run in).

Our "summer" uniform allows us to wear docker bermuda shorts with our golf shirt.

But I'm at a loss as to what to wear on my feet.

By law, I have to wear shoes that completely cover my feet (so crocs and flip flops are out). However, I want to wear something comfortable as I'm on my feet for 8 hours.

So - should I continue wearing my old running shoes with white socks? Or should I wear something completely different?

I don't want to look any more like a dweeb than I already do.

tigertony @ 6/7/2008 11:52:33 AM

When in doubt, wear socks.
<issued>2008-06-07T11:52:33+01:00</issued><modified>2008-06-07T11:52:33+01:00</modified>
When in doubt, wear socks.

Fashion Police - Help Needed!!!

< 1 2 >

IcePigs @ 6/7/2008 11:46:27 AM

We seem to have quite a few different "Plimates Helping Plimates" threads....so I thought I would start another one.

I am a fashion idiot.
