Oh, BTW, it’s argued by some that the reason why the papal chairs had an opening on the seat was because a woman had once become pope and remained a pope for a couple of years, thus deceiving the whole of the Christian world for a while. It was discovered she was female while giving birth to a child in the middle of a procession. So, from then on, they just decided to make sure the next pope was indeed a man by feeling up his genitals before placing the miter on his head.
