Oh my God.....Oh my God. Best movie ever. The pencil, the "You wanna know how I got this scar?" bit, Harvey Dent, Batman, Gordon, The Joker's awesomely funny (and ultimately deadly) slapstick humor. It's all amazing. There were points that as I watched, I was left in awe of The Joker's beautifully manic and chaotic thought pattern. I love this movie. The ending was brilliant.

GO SEE NOW!
<score></score><crdate>7/18/2008 10:15:06 PM</crdate><rssdate></rssdate><atomdate>2008-07-18T22:15:06+01:00</atomdate></comment><comment>

Chez @ 7/18/2008 12:07:18 PM

« SkandarGraun : What happened? It absolutely lived up to it's hype for me. Bale was great as always (and yes, I will say as always, his 'Batman' voices needs a little getting used to) but Ledger, omg... I had my issues at the very beginning with him portraying the Joker; but man he pulls it off... he f**king OWNED that role. His character is a maniac and HILARIOUS. I laughed throughout the whole movie. I was so giddy and hyper at the end.
Another notable performance was that of Aaron Eckhart, Harvey Dent was very well played. The special effects on him were amazing as well.

Oh and another thing, the music in this movie is absolutely brilliant! There are scenes where the score gets so loud that it really immerses you in the film.

Ah I'm no big fancy writer so I'm going summarize this like so: MOVIE IZ GOOD GO WATCH NOW KTHXBAI!
<score></score><crdate>7/18/2008 10:44:41 AM</crdate><rssdate></rssdate><atomdate>2008-07-18T10:44:41+01:00</atomdate></comment>

The Dark Knight....in Review! Of course there will be much praise from the media over Ledger's portrayal of The Joker, and it will be almost entirely deserved. He is completely psycho, unbalanced, and horrible and he is completely menacing. Bale once again admirably dons the cape and mask, but make no mistake: Ledger makes this good movie a great one.

I know with a movie like this there needs to be the willing suspension of disbelief, and it is possible with Batman. We understand that Batman is actually Bruce Wayne the billionaire and has virtually unlimited financial and technological resources. But for me I did have issues with this aspect of the Joker. How does the Joker accomplish all these feats? I know the Joker is not motivated by money, but how does he finance his operations? In the movie he claims that gasoline and gunpowder are cheap, but in the quantities he used them he would still need a lot of money to pull it off. If the Joker had taken some money from the mob, then I would not have had any problems.
Thats all I'll say. If you've seen it send up your review!
<score></score><crdate>7/18/2008 3:38:48 AM</crdate><rssdate></rssdate><atomdate>2008-07-18T03:38:48+01:00</atomdate></comment></items></xml>
