Proof, if proof be need be that prohibition is not so clever.
Here in the less puritanical quarters of the world where absinthe is readily available, no-one is that fussed. We all know the truth - it tastes like ropey Pernod, gives you a bad hangover and that's about it.
Where it is still restricted, it is still romanticised and built up to something that really it isn't.
