I was just wondering what all consoles you guys have (if any), and if anyone has an Xbox 360 Live account. Anyway, I have a modest collection of consoles. Even though I'm only a teenager I have an Atari, Coleco Vision (shudders), Nintendo, and most of the other old stuff. I also have a goal to one day own one of every console.

Wow, I've officially realised how much of a gaming-freak I am.
And, if this thread seems in any way odd, I'm blaming it on my sleepiness.
I haven't even gotten to try out the Wii yet, which is odd for me because if I don't have a console I usually know someone who does. No one that I know has a Wii though. :-(
I want a wii. I've been selling my wife on it from a "it's basically a work-out machine that I will actually use" angle. We'll see how that goes. Until then I plan on expanding my girth until she gets the point. So pour me another pint, dear.

«AutumnLotus : I'm surprised not to see a PSP on your list, Mershaullk!
I've looked into getting one, but I'm not willing to spend that much money on something that has such poor reviews. I would probably play it only every once in a while anyway. Usually, whenever I'm travelling, I'll either listen to my iPod or play my SP, which is good enough entertainment for me. :-P
I just remembered that my bf gave me a PSP. I didn't even touch the thing and then was forced to play it. I play for about 2 times and gave up. The PSP got heavy after holding it for a while and my neck hurts from looking down at it haha.

What, no Pong??!! Amateur!! Actually, that's a pretty impressive list.
Showing my age, but as a child I got every system up to the playstation, including Pong, my first system. You could play Pong, and Tennis, which was the same game, but different background. The 1st Playstation was my last system. After the computer, I never went back to consoles. Oh, and in it's time, Coleco Vision ruled.
I'm just glad I have kids so I can justify the game systems in the house! My non-gamer friends would think it weird to see these if not for the childrens: Playstation PS2 PSP (my favorite) Gameboy GB Color GB Advance GB SP Nintendo 64 Nintendo DS Nintendo DS Lite Gamecube Waiting on the Wii... always sold out around here. No XBox/X360/PS3 at this time, but I'm always on the lookout for a deal.
I have: PlayStation 1 (the original chunky one) PlayStation 2 (again, originial, chunkier one) GameBoy Color (the greenish one) Nintendo DS (not 'lite', it's also silver) Wii
That's about as far as it goes. I'm not a heavy videogamer; maybe I would be if I could finish them.
I have a Nintendo 64 I bought used, and exactly two games: Pokemon Stadium and Dr. Mario. The mindless repetion soothes me. Needless to say, video games are not an important part of my life.
I have a PS2, Wii, DS Lite and Dreamcast. I also have this Atari thingy that came out last year that was made to look like a wood-grained 2600 but it has 20+ original Atari 2600 games in its memory (no cartridges).
I dearly love my Dreamcast. I still have about 50 games for it, most picked up dirt cheap during the system's dying days at gaming stores desperate to unload inventory (before Dreamcast became the "chic" retrogaming system to have).
But most of the time, I just play my DS. No muss, no fuss, just pick up and play. No fighting over the TV to play a couple of stages in Disgaea while my wife wants to watch the Lifetime abused-woman-of-the-week movie.
I have also owned an Atari 2600, ColecoVision (Temple of Apshai ROCKED HARD!), TurboGrafix 16 (just to play Bonk's Adventure), NES, PS1, Gamecube, and Xbox.
No consoles, I'm strictly a PC gamer. However...I watched my nephews last weekend playing with their brand new Wii, and I have to admit, I'm very intrigued. I wanted to give it a try, but there was no way I was going to get them off of it for even a second.
I don't have a console and I've never had one. I've never seen the point, really. You can play games on a computer too. It just feels like a redundant device.
