I loved Ender's Game and Ender's Shadow.

The rest of the books in the series were not to my liking.

If they make a Wii Battle Room, I'm getting it!

Wow - I can't believe this is a new story! The movie's been in the works forever, so I just figured this would be old, too.

I liked the original series as a whole better than I've liked the new series. Ender's Game itself is probably my favorite sci-fi book (and I read a lot).

I was a huge fan of enders game, but enders shadow, however, seemed kinda like an LCD trip in monkey land...naked.

Not totally naked, you still have Mayonaise.

Actually I thought Shadow was an original twist on an old favorite. And I enjoyed the others in the series as well but froma completely different angle. They were good Scifi in their own right, even if they were pretty much completely detached from the story, plot, and feel of the original 'Game'

I'm looking forward to this... IF they do it right.

Normally just lurk and don't post, but I had to comment on this one...

As you can see from my screen name, I am a huge fan, and my 5 year old son is truly named Ender.

I am very leery of a movie...I doubt that I want to be subjected to someone else's vision of the story. However, I am very open to the concept of a video game. If done correctly, I think it could be an incredible gaming experience. Just imagine manuvering in the vast battle room and working on varying strategies for your 'toons' as was done in the book. And, to top it off, it should be a game that the whole family can play...not blood and guts like so many out there that I steer my son away from.

I will be eagerly awaiting it, as will my son (who does seem to take after his namesake in all the good ways...).
