Believe it or not, I'd use one of these pens over anything expensive I've seen. The only pens I've owned that actually run out fo ink, instead of clogging, breaking or starting to grind. The simple Bic always writed smooth even on uneven surfaces.

Actually, this is a real classic for pen lovers. The red ink version was favored and coveted by teachers for years. (I think the RSVP is now a fave)... yeah. This and the Dixon Ticonderoga #2.
