You don't suppose things are getting so bad that even the media is afraid to speak up, do you? Or is it just an assumption that Americans are more likely to buy light and happy than dark and depressing?

I once heard an american on worth say he relies on BBC for the actual world news. Examples like this make it so clear some sort of news bubble is being created in the US. It makes me sick.

I'm going to say more of the latter. Even though the freedoms of speech and press are being nipped away at more and more, I think this is Newsweek just being a bunch of wussies for the sake of their readership.

Also, I'm going to use this post to beg for a Media subcatagory. Pleeeeeeeease?
