Not cool.

People should put their phones on silent or vibrate. What if there were an emergency? What if while someone was watching a movie, their son got in a car accident and was taken to the hospital and everyone was trying to contact them and their son died in the hospital and they didn't get to say goodbye? What if someone's wife/girlfriend went into labor early?

I agree that ringing cell phones is annoying while in a theatre, but I don't think they should block signal.

There was a time when movie ushers would remove disruptive people. I think that is the better solution.
