The Making Of Saturday Night Fever Posted: 11 months ago by 2manyusernames
In 1976, Robert Stigwood placed a million-dollar bet on a young TV star, signing John Travolta to a three-movie deal. First up, a low-budget production based on a New York magazine article about disco-crazy Italian-American kids in Brooklyn: Saturday Night Fever. SAM KASHNER has the story of a culture-bending hit, whose music–by a revitalized 60s band called the Bee Gees–became the best-selling soundtrack of its time.

The Big Space Fuck Posted: 11 months ago by 2manyusernames
Hey, Kurt Vonnegut wrote this short story. His talent trumps any "nsfw" rules. :) “What was the dirtiest story I ever wrote?” wrote Kurt Vonnegut in “Palm Sunday.” “Surely ‘The Big Space f**k,’ the first story of literature to have ‘f**k’ in its title. It was probably the last short story I will ever write. I did it for my friend Harlan Ellison, who printed it in his anthology ‘Again, Dangerous Visions.’

This Is the Title of This Story, Which Is Also Found Several Times in the Story Itself Posted: 2 years ago by imnotyoo
"This is the first sentence of this story. This is the second sentence. This is the title of this story, which is also found several times in the story itself. This sentence is questioning the intrinsic value of the first two sentences. This sentence is to inform you, in case you haven't already realized it, that this is a self-referential story, that is, a story containing sentences that refer to their own structure and function. This is a sentence that provides an ending to the first paragraph . . ."
