A young lady drank a concoction of lime and coconut which made her sick.

She calls the doctor for treatment.

He prescribes a concoction of lime and coconut to alleviate her symptoms.

That is pretty much it, just an excuse for a repeating circle of lyrics.

It could also be interpreted to that old line about the best cure is the "hair of the dog that bit you". In other words the best cure for a hangover is to get drunk.

It has also been said that this is a great song to get drunk to.
