This one is true, true, true and was proven so by the MythBusters. Nobody can explain exactly why, but microwaving a giant jawbreaker will turn it into a very dangerous molten sugar grenade. Also, nobody can explain why someone would microwave a jawbreaker in the first place.

Because some jawbreakers are very thick, when heated, the innermost layers get hotter than the outside layers. The inside then melts and expands, causing pressure to build up against the, still hard, outside layers. When bitten into or something of the like, the outside layers break, releasing the molten goo at high velocities.
