I had one of these as a kid. I think I gave up about five months worth of allowance to buy it. I remember going home, starting to put the little dots in their patterns, and thinking, "This is it?".

My in-laws bought one for my kids a couple of years ago. It had more patterns and bells and whistles than I remembered. All the same, the adults played with it more than the kids. Fun find!
