The protest almost became violent as Tom Cruise, visiting London for a future film project, exited the church and began taunting the demonstrators. Police intervened after one of the demonstrators lunged forward, grabbing Cruise by the throat and shouting, "The multiplying villainies of Xenu do swarm upon him!"

yes. though the article seems more like tabloid journalism, its also pretty unbelievable. It's made to sound as if the apocalypse is coming and tom cruise is standing at the gates of hell ready to battle the predator with a machete

You are so right, and it can be an extremely comic thing too. Amazing how worked-up some people get about this sort of stuff.
