Global warming and climate change have decimated the earth, and people live in little villages in the desert. You get to operate as a caravaneer (a merchant/trader), and travel from village to village with your wares. Bandits may attack, but at least you can buy some sweet weapons.
This game reminds me a bit of oregon trail, but without the dysentery.
