What an a*****e. The bigger a*****e is the court that is allowing this to go to trial.

It is a game people.

Life isn't fair why should a game be fair?

If Blizzard doesn't want this to happen they should post rules that disallow this. Make playing the game contingent on agreeing to an iron-clad agreement not to use real money to gain benefits unfairly.

Rules wouldn't stop all instances of it happening but it would cut down on it dramatically.

There are very strict rules to disallow it. The TOS gives them the right to ban anyone caught buying or selling gold and they do so 100% of the time. The problem is that IGE is pretty good at hiding it and Blizzard has had a hard time pressing their legal rights against them.

So the rules you speak of are definitely in place. This guy is suing one of the major offenders.

So there is a WoW kid going out of his way to complain about real world occurances downplaying his way of life.

NO F**KING WAY.

"I've been lvl 70 since before your character even existed!!" I guess it must be hard to imagine that some people out there are not willing to turn over their entire life for a video game. And this means they shouldn't even be playing?? How about legislation that says people who put more into their virtual life than their real one should be BANNED?!
