This they say while they kill thousands of "rescued" animals for lack of space and/or perfering to spend their funding on sh*t like this rather than on taking care of the animals they "save"

Meat requires so many resources to grow. Producing it in a test tube will solve many, many problems, IMO.

I'm all for this; not because I want to be nice to animals but because too many people can't stop having too many kids who use too many resources and we're fast approaching our planet's carrying capacity for Homo sapiens.
