You might want to do a little updated research, the price has gone down to $400 for the 40 GB and $500 for the 80 GB model. Thanks for trying though.

I was scratching my head at that one too. Another person that's confusing the PS3 with the Xbox 360 perhaps? Read some PS3 forums and see what types of problems people have, I've never heard of anyone's PS3 overheating. Never, and I frequent the official PlayStation forums almost as much as Plime.
