The ASSOCIATED PRESS reports Favre’s final game ball is in the hands of Lt. Col. Gadson, an army officer who lost both his legs in Iraq.
Since losing his legs in a roadside bomb attack last May, Gadson had served as a motivational figure for the New York Giants, meeting & speaking with the team throughout their Super Bowl season. When Corey Webster intercepted Favre’s last pass in the NFC Championship game in January, the cornerback gave the ball to Gadson.
