JV Games announced that they will be ‘cleaning up’ their Wii version of beer pong to be called simply ‘Pong Toss’. Ridiculous. Heads should roll for this one.

Seems kind of like a pointless game anyways, but it is kind of lame that they are forcing it to be acceptable to everyone. I would rather play the real game, or something more unusual game like the Roxane drinking game.

C'mon man! I live in a college town and the stupid frat "comunity" seem to be pretty good finding alchhol laden dead kids after thier partys without the help of a game console.

I did find it a LITTLE weird that a drinking game was rated 'T for teen'. That's like "Jello Shots for kids!" I guess I'll file that one along with the thongs for pre-teens and 'sexy attire' that is now marketed for 6 year olds. It's a mismatch of age and appropriateness.
What should have happened is: The game should have been marketed for the same people that play the game. Adults. Which makes it a 'M' game. Not a T one. There. Now an adult drinking game is appropriate for adults and the kids parents can buy it when they buy a copy of GTA4.
But when Beer Pong wanted to maintain it's T rating, they decided to remove the beer. It's not like any college aged guy or girl with half a brain can't add the beer themselves. And REAL alcohol added to 'Pong Toss' is going to be better than 'virtual' alcohol anyways.
So they changed some text and now the liquid inside is water instead of beer?
What's the big deal?
