I just read aboot this and came to see if Plime was aware. I was never much of a country music fan, but Smokey and the Bandit is one of my guilty pleasures.

Jerry was always a class act. This is one of my favorite songs, I guess because it hits so close to home.

A friend of mine had one of his albums.

It had this song called "May the bird of paradise fly up your nose" (a cover of Little Jimmy d**kens)

To this day, I can sing every lyric to that song......and occasionally do.

That movie above looks like a blooper compilation from COPS.

Smokey and the Bandit is the favorite movie of one of my truck driver friends, he also likes the movie Convoy. According to him Smokey and the Bandit would have been the best movie of the year, it would have been much more famous if Star Wars does not come out the same year.
