"Girls Gone Wild" founder fined $1.6 million for filming underage girls
Fined for two 17-year-olds in his raunchy videos and he probably still made a hefty profit. picked by Wingnut 2 years ago

It's the community service that's going to hurt. 8 hours a month for 30 months, 16 hours if he's going to do the other top managers' sentence.

I like that. Maybe work at a battered women's shelter.

Think he would learn anything?

Knowing him he'd just release "Battered Wife's Gone Wild" a few weeks after.

I'm absolutely shocked that no one has said anything about the fact that these 17 year old girls should have known better in the first place.

Since I don't know the actual circumstance, I will take a guess. Young kids were at a party, they drank, someone said, "Hey, it would be really cool to flash us your boobs!", girls complied.

Don't get into people taking advantage of them. Don't get into me blaming the victim. Im not, Im saying that any 17 year is going to know alcohol makes you drunk.

Im waiting for society to regain at least a modicum of personal responsibility.

Also pending against Francis are state felony charges in which he is accused of using children in sexual performances.

He can make as much money as he wants, these charges don't sound like the money and community service type of punishment.
Next up; Cellmates gone wild ...

[and I predict, not a big money-maker]

You're exactly right. They didn't force them into pulling up their shirts. And people can say "Oh, they were influenced" yadayada all the want. That's BS.

Haha. Looks good. (The sentence, not "cellmates gone wild")

Excellent point. Don't get me wrong, I'm not sympathizing with Mr. Girlsgonewild, but no one forced them to lift their shirts. I've been drinking since I was fourteen, and I've been extremely drunk on several occassions (I like to say I'm smarter now and don't get drunk like that anymore, but it still happens sometimes), but I have never whipped out my business to show the world, or done anything so incredibly stupid as what these two girls did.

These two girls, drunk or sober, saw a video camera and some guy telling them to expose the twins. It was ultimately their choice. If I walked up to them and told them to stick their fingers up their butts, would they have done it? To me, this is just a lesson these girls needed to learn, and to sue is rediculous. If anyone should be sued over this whole thing, it should be the distributers of the alcohol.

I agree that, even hammered, you should be responsible for your actions but this guy has a history of being a douchebag and, as wonderful as his videos may be, he ought to be taken down off his throne soon.

Interesting article. No doubt this guy is an a*****e, I never said he was a decent human being.

I'm just saying the drunk girls lifted their shirts in front of a camera and that sort of thing should fall on them. Had he forced them into this, I agree that the blame should be on him, but these girls did it themselves. The whole underage thing is an issue, I know, but we're not talking about twelve year olds, we're talking about seventeen year olds, one year from the legal 18 mark. He didn't peddle the schoolyard for these girls, he went to clubs (clubs that serve alcohol, clubs that only adults are aloud to attend). If they were underage, they shouldn't have been in the club in the first place.
