I know.. there's never anything original anymore like back in the MTV golden years and the grunge era. And I'll be perfectly honest, my wife likes that show, we both like ABDC, and my wife even likes Making the Band but even THAT show is 90% idiotic drama and only 10% "music"...it's all P-Dipsh*t and his "b*tch*ssness" ..and what's with the BS Diddy diet crap?
And don't get me started on the ads...I'm so glad the MTV award show is over so they can stop overlaying 50% of the show I'm trying to watch with ads for it!!!! LAME!

Posted: 2 months ago by nixon-lee: i personally haven't watched trl in years.it used to be the reason to breath for a moment there. but it lost it's appeal after i realized i had left that phase behind. the bad thing about closing the show is that celebrities will have one less spot to promote new movies and music. i agree with most posters here that MTV isnt about music at all anymore. iam so sick of the darn reality shows. just give them a channel and call it a day already.
