Best Movie Blunders Posted: 2 months ago by shuallyo
A collection of gaffs, continuity errors, mistakes and general balls ups from movies.
Perhaps if the movie makers employed the pedants who take the time to spot these things they wouldn't happen.

Some of those aren't great at all.....
The have one that Han Solo had make up on his collar, in "Star Wars". But they don't mention the scene where a Storm Trooper wallops his head off a doorway.

Wow, this reminded me of how few movies I've seen. There were so many on that list where I though, "Man, I really need to get around to watching that."
In total, I've seen 7 movies on that list.

If they were going to show pictures, why didn't they show pictures of the bloopers?

They didn't catch one in "Stand By Me." There is a race scene in which they show a closeup of the front of the two cars racing. One of the cars has a california plate that wasn't manufactured until the 1970s, and it's supposed to take place in the '50s.
I know, nitpicky...

Well that's it! If these studios can't get the movies right, I'm just not going to watch them anymore.

My favorite movie mistake was the Breakfast Club. They run by a window where it's dark outside.
Some of these "The church he ran to was 40 blocks away.." Yeah, and how exactly do you know his address? And maybe in the Sixth Sense while all these GHOSTS are running around it's on an earth where that particular church IS only a block away?
You can't really criticize the locations in a fictional story can you? I mean, histories should be accurate but fiction?
And 'In Ghost he casts a shadow" um.. how is that a mistake? Maybe ghosts do cast shadows, ghost shadows that only ghosts can see? They obviously didn't hit on the fact that 'as a ghost he pushes stuff around' so why is the shadow that big a deal?
Cool stuff for the most part though. Some of the timeline innacuracies were cool, others were (as said above) nitpicky.
