Another casualty here.
My mother-in-law just bought one for her husband for Christmas. I showed her this and she started freaking out LOL
Her hubby is a bit accident prone so Christmas day should be funny

Her hubby is a bit accident prone so Christmas day should be funny If he uses the wrist strap he should be fine. He just needs to make sure to not get too into the game, because that's when accidents happen.
We've had ours for almost two years, and never once has it flown out of our hands or hit our big screen tv. :)

And THAT is why I wear the wrist strap. Also, the games I am playing now dont require flinging the wii-mote. If I let my son play, he wears the strap. I make dang sure of that.

We had some close calls with a ceiling fan in my house, be we play on a 6 foot wide projector screen so we're not too concerned with flying remotes.
