In 2008, gamers collectively spent more time with their PlayStation 2 than any other console. That's according to media research company Nielsen, whose "Top Tens" of 2008 calculated video game console usage, as well as the top PC games.

Because Guitar Hero started out for Playstation, and PS2s are CHEAP on eBay!
I bought one last Xmas specifically for GH!
Next platform will be a Wii. Then maybe a PS3 with a Blu-Ray player, woot!

We have both a PS2 and a Wii. Up until just this week, my family played with the PS2 much more, because the games we have for it are more entertaining. But then we got Wii Outdoor Activities for Christmas, and my husband and kids are competitive enough that they are trying to break each other's records all the time.
