Doesn't matter if you even finished watching it...

For me, it was "The Birdcage"

I went because "she" wanted to see it. I now know the movie equivalent to a near death experience.

Black Hawk Down. Really, there wasn't much of a plot, just explosions, and if I'm going to watch a movie, I need a plot. [That's not to say I don't like war movies, but that one was Terrible!]

There are a bunch of rom/coms that come as close seconds, and every chop'em'up horrer movie is, IMO, equally awful.

edit: I forgot The Core, Volcano, and a bunch like that. I'm a geoscientist, and those violated just about everything science....

I don't know if it was the worst but Hercules in New York was pretty bad.

I haven't seen The Birdcage, prolly won't.
My wife cried during Blackhawk down I put my arm around her but really didn't know what to say to her. A very personal movie.
Haven't seen any of the Backdoor slut series, prolly won't.

rom/coms? Romantic comedies, maybe? If so, no argument here.

There's a movie from the 80s or 90s called Robot Jox that's pretty awful. Rollerball was pretty bad... Werewolf vs. Vampire Women...

My wife and her dad are pretty big fans of awful movies, so I've seen some doozies. My wife and I actually rented Plan 9 From Outer Space and watched it back to back with Ed Wood one weekend.

Oh - just remembered "An American Haunting." The ending was so bad that it ruined the whole rest of the movie.

Also, Kid Galahad (an Elvis movie) and Six Pack (Kenny Rogers as a race car driver) were mighty stinky.

You know - I think that series just went to pot after the original writers left.

I read the book that the movie was based on, and enjoyed it, but I haven't seen the movie.

There's only a few movies that I've seen that I would say that I hate. The first I would have to say is 'Jawbreaker'. Other than that I don't know if I would say I hate Episode III, or was just so horribly disappointed in the lack of creativity in that movie. It seemed to me like George Lucas said, "Well, we've laid out all of these plot lines, lets just finish them all up, I'm tired of this Star Wars crap."

Oh, and the Trapeze scene from Backdoor Sluts 4 really ruined the rest of the series for me. You just couldn't top that.

_____

I almost forgot The Others, the only reason that I didn't walk out of that movie was because I at least got to stare at Nichole Kidman. Totally boring, I figured out the movie after only a few scenes, no surprises.

Yes... the character development was lacking. I also thought the plot line was a bit confusing.

In... out... in... out... in... out... come on already, make up your mind!

Yup.

I'd imagine that as a book it'd be interesting, but as a movie..... I had heard some really great reviews about it, so I was expecting something more.
I might read the book, that might change my opinion of the movie.

Flash Gordon. No competition. Made in the 70's, this movie has the worst animation I've ever seen, terrible acting, bad costumes, and the characters say the most serious things. I laughed till I cried.

I'm glad someone else thinks this. Flash sucked so much that it alone is the reason there is a vacuum in space. Also on my list is Plan 9 from Outer Space. Bela Lugosi's last film. Their spaceship was a curtain behind the actors.

Red Dragon. I walked out of that one in 15 minutes, despite having paid $8+ to get in.

All three of the "new" Star Wars movies. Good lord those were awful!

Megaforce. It was an 80s flick about a super elite combat squadron that uses their ultra-futuristic rocket launching motorcycles to shoot balloons. And not hot-air balloons that villains could conceivable ride in. Just everyday helium-filled party balloons. Wow.

Special mention goes to Gymkata. Watch gymnast-turned-action-hero Kurt Thomas beat up bad guys by using conveniently placed gymnastics equipment. It's especially notable for the scene in which he single-handedly defeats an entire village of mentally ill people by swinging around a rock shaped amazingly like a pommel horse. But it's so ridiculously bad on every possible level that it's actually fun to watch.

Payback with Mel Gibson. The movie absolutely sucks. Also Billy Madison with Adam Sandler. Sandler is usually funny, but BM seemed like they were throwing out whatever they could think of in the hopes something would stick.

Okay, I got Left Behind because I thought it would be funny, but it sucked.

Also, last night I accidently rented a Lifetime movie, Homeless to Harvard. The title totally gives away the entire plot. Although, I will admit that the main character
s parents BOTH getting AIDS and dying was quite a suprise! (I mean, I was expecting it with the mom, but then the dad, my goodness!)

Yeah, it seems like Lifetime's motto is "kick 'em while they're down."
