Well, I can't get this tune out of my head, so I thought I would share the pain.
This is sort of like a train wreck between The Sound of Music, bad disco and the Smurfs on helium. (I was going to say Alvin and the Chipmunks but I figured you young'ns wouldn't know what I was talking about.)

Not only did the original run of Alvin and the Chipmunks run to 1990, whereas the Smurfs ran to 1989, but there was a recent Alvin and the Chipmunks movie (2007); so I think Alvin and the Chipmunks would be a fair point of comparison.
