I'd seen that one before, but always thought it was CGI. It's amazing, would have loved to see it in real life though.

The amazing thing is not that they did it, but how. For an act like this you get only ONE shot. You can't collect 250k balls, and try again. Really cool.

Why not? It wouldn't be that hard... you just get twice as many balls and do it twice or collect most of the balls again, supplement a few and do it again. Sony has the cash...

There's a video on Google Videos that shows the making of that commercial. I might just be remembering this wrong, but I think they might have said something about doing like three takes or something. Like they scooped them all up and did it again. But, I doubt that. Cause that would just be crazy! They also did a paint one. Google it. It's neato :)

Cool commercial. I love the bright coloured balls. I bought the 40" Bravia for my room last year ^^

These balls sure beat the blue-black ones I had as a kid!
