Nope. This set's you up to fail and feel guilty on the basis that you live in North America. It's impossible - even if you pick all the "right" settings to make your footprint less than two earths.

Lowest I can get it to is 2.3 earths.

And that's as a vegan with no electricity, who never buys anything, never takes transportation anywhere, and has 7+ people living in my less than 550 sq foot apartment.

Oh...and look, if you feel bad enough about how you're contributing to the demise of our planet you can donate to their organization. Isn't that nice?

BOO enviroporn!

It is especially funny that they promote recycling despite the fact that buying recycled products creates more pollution that buy normal ones.

You ready for this?

Ok, here it is: I intend to use the same excuse as every human has ever used...

"By the time my actions totally screw up the planet... I won't be around anyway, so I can't say that I really care too awfully much."

Yep, I'm a pretty bad person alright.

Heh.

I don't think that works for those who have kids. What's the point in raising them and keeping them alive if they're to enjoy the s**tty legacy we've left them because we were two selfish to care when we had the chance to?

Yup, I know you were being sarcastic.

Point taken. Ok, I promise to stop dumping radioactive sludge in the rivers for personal amusement...

But you will get no more concessions from me, hippie!
