No Ice At The godda*n North Pole!!
No Ice At The godda*n North Pole!!
It seems unthinkable, but for the first time in human history, ice is on course to disappear entirely from the North Pole this year.

Hard to believe. picked by Amwar 2 months ago

Not that hard to believe... we've seen it coming for years now... but I'm sure this will be passed off as "Liberal scare-tactics"

This is awesome! Now, after Canada and Russia figure out who owns the ridge, they can start drilling and accelerate global warming even more!! Sometimes I think we behave more like bacteria than intelligent creatures.

1 good thing is that if Polar Bears grow gills we can get the Creationists to quiet down.

Not to shatter your hopes, but "it's all part of His plan" pretty much covers everything.

wait, if there's no ice at the north pole, shouldn't the south pole be completely ice-free too? and if so, why aren't we seeing waaaay more natural disasters like Al Gore & friends said we would? I believe in global warming, but this argument sounds full of holes...

Your arguement sounds full of holes. The poles host wildly different environments! The N. pole (aka the magnetic south pole) is ocean, with sea ice. The S. pole is on continental crust, and hosts a different type of icepacks and glaciers. This allows the S. Pole to influence weather patterns and maintain it's climate... to a point.

Saying you believe in global warming but not this is like saying you believe in gravity but not in airplanes.

Score another point for man's ingenuity! After 400 years of fruitless searches for the Northwest Passage, we said, "Screw it," and made one ourselves.

Let's go sail it and then pee on John Cabot's grave!
